In 1891, previous California Governor Leland Stanford established Stanford University to pay tribute to his just child, who kicked the bucket of typhoid fever in 1884. Not at all like different colleges of the time, Stanford was interested in both men and ladies. A portion of the biggest Silicon Valley organizations, for example, Google, Yahoo, Cisco Systems, and Hewlett-Packard Company all have solid binds toward the West Coast Ivy.
