Vanderbilt University

Vanderbilt University (Nashville, TN)

Established in 1873, Vanderbilt University is a private, research college in Nashville, Tennessee's capital and second-biggest city. The 330-section of land grounds is only a mile and a half from the heart of downtown, and constitutes a fundamental piece of the neighborhood group and its air. With an end goal to keep the school little and individual, the understudy body is confined to around 12,000 understudies. The college keeps up an amazing understudy to-personnel proportion of only eight-to-one.

The undergrad bit of the college is partitioned into four Schools: Arts and Sciences, Engineering, Education and Development, and Music. The graduate and pre-expert projects are separated among six Schools: Law, Medicine, Nursing, Management, Divinity, and the Graduate School. Inside of those Schools, there speak the truth 70 majors, alongside the alternative to make a particular project to meet an understudy's particular needs and hobbies.

All Vanderbilt students are required to live on grounds, where more than 400 understudy and 50 administration associations are perceived. With all the college brings to the table, it shocks no one that opposition for spots at the school is hardened: Fewer than 12 percent of candidates are acknowledged. U.S. News & World Report positions Vanderbilt #17 among all U.S. colleges, while Academic Ranking of World Universities positions it #49 on the planet.

Vanderbilt University is authorize by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges.
