Set up in 1969, Ramapo College is a coeducational, open, human sciences and expert studies organization situated in Mahwah, in the upper east corner of the Garden State, not a long way from New York City. The 300-sections of land grounds is settled in the Ramapo Mountains and is at present home to somewhere in the range of 6,000 understudies. 

Instructively, the school is bolstered by four columns: universal, intercultural, interdisciplinary and experiential. Each of these columns is intertwined into the required educational modules, which is further fortified by an abundance of clubs, concentrate abroad open doors, and other extracurricular exercises. 

Ramapo is isolated into five Schools: Humanities and Global Studies, Business, Contemporary Arts, Social Sciences and Human Services, and Theoretical and Applied Sciences. Over those five School, the school offers 40 majors. The normal class size includes 23 understudies, while the present understudy to-personnel proportion is 18-to-one. Ramapo College is one of Kiplinger's Best Value Public Colleges in the United States. 

Ramapo College of New Jersey is licensed by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education.
