MUS-001 CONCERT/RECITAL ATTENDANCE0 CREDITS 

A prerequisite for all music majors and minors. Participation for all music majors and minors is required at shows and presentations. A few expert and group night shows are planned amid every semester. Presentation labs meet for 45 minutes every week. S/U reviews just. 

MUS-100 MUSIC FUNDAMENTALS2 CREDITS 

A basics' investigation of music including documentation, vocabulary, composition music and structures. Accentuation on the capacity to peruse and comprehend music. Not open to music majors

MUS-101 AURAL SKILLS I2 CREDITS 

Prerequisites:Instructor consent 

The essential objective of aural abilities is moment, coordinated mapping of sound to image and image to sound. The musicianship preparing in the course empowers performers to create 'emphasizing so as to see ears' and 'listening to eyes' procedures for precise and expressive perusing, extemporizing, singing, and correspondence utilizing basic rhythms and diatonic contribute materials treble, bass and C clefs. Console aptitudes in the class require sight perusing, act of spontaneity and specialized investigations of all major and minor scales. Three hours for each week. 

MUS-102 AURAL SKILLS II2 CREDITS 

Prerequisites:MUS-101 

A continuation of MUS-101 in the improvement of middle of the road to cutting edge aptitudes in sight singing, ear-preparing, and console, including all the diatonic harmonies, adjustment to firmly related keys, and more cadenced complexities.
